Projects

The Vanguard Chapter engages in various projects in pursuit of our shared TU mission: To conserve protect and restore coldwater resources and their watersheds.

These projects provide varied opportunity for members to become involved, contribute and grow their commitment at their own pace.

Work Weekend Fri 1 - Sun 3 August

Black River near Gaylord. Working with Paul Rose and the DNR.

We are still go for the Black River Work Bee. Although I'm hoping to secure some adjacent landowner permission immediately adjacent to the project site, the State's Town Cornerlake Campground is in close proximity and will be a good contingency plan.  I've attached a scanned map of its location and will still send along more details within the next week or so.

We should have everything that we will need for the project.  Obviously waders and work gloves which can get wet would be well advised.  Other than that your collective help is all that we should need.

This is a very worthwhile work weekend in which you can make a difference to the river's condition.

Please contact Dave Watson or John Sabina
