- November 10th meeting will feature Terry Drinkwine, blogger extraordinaire on terrydrinkwineoutdoors.com, outdoor writer for The Macomb Daily News & Royal Oak Daily Tribune, Recording Secretary for Michigan Fly Fishing Club, employee at The Orvis Company-Royal Oak store, Royal Oak City Commissioner, and a Vanguard Chapter member since 1989! Terry will be talking about fishing the Jordan River. The Jordan River is in the southern part of Charlevoix County and centrally located in Antrim County with salmon, steelhead and resident trout in great numbers. We will also have a short presentation by Tony Palmeri, a middle school science teacher, 7th grade, in the Avondale District. He will tell us about their SIC program.
- October 13th will feature Jason Davis, author and owner of The Downstream Drift Guide Service to discuss his new book,An Angler's Guide to paint Creek". He'll also be sharing his secrets to fishing Paint Creek, good to know for next season on Paint Creek.
- September 8th meeting features Jeremy Geist from the CRWC. Jeremy will talk about the pending removal of the Paint Creek Dam & the upcoming SE Michigan TU Chapters work projects & picnic event on Sunday, September 18th.

Meetings are open to TU members and non-members alike. Please feel free to attend if you are considering joining TU. Just ask any officer and we'll be happy to provide you with information and/or an application.
Meetings begin at 7:30pm and adjourn about 9:30pm. Programs for each meeting are listed on the Calendar of Events page. Each year we bring in renowned guides and fly fishing experts from around the state as well as resource pros who make a living conserving the resources we all enjoy.
