Membership Meetings
Membership meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at the Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve, 333 North Hill Circle, Rochester, MI 48307.

Meetings are open to TU members and non-members alike. Please feel free to attend if you are considering joining TU. Just ask any officer and we'll be happy to provide you with information and/or an application.
Meetings begin at 7:30pm and adjourn about 9:30pm. Programs for each meeting are listed on the Calendar of Events page. Each year we bring in renowned guides and fly fishing experts from around the state as well as resource pros who make a living conserving the resources we all enjoy.

January 2012 Speaker: Czech Nymphing 101 by Steve Parrott and will be viewing portions of this video at the January meeting. This is the latest craze and you'll enjoy this video explaining how to fish this method successfully.

December 2011 Speaker: Rich Merlino, Fly Fishing Manager The Orvis Company-Royal Oak store will give a presentation on Fishing in Belize.
November 2011 Speaker: Terry Drinkwine about fishing the Jordan River. We will also have a short presentation by Tony Palmeri, a middle school science teacher, 7th grade, in the Avondale District. He will tell us about their SIC program.
October 2011 Speaker: Jason Davis, author and owner of The Downstream Drift Guide Service to discuss his new book,An Angler's Guide to paint Creek".
September 2011 Speaker: Jeremy Geist from the CRWC. Jeremy will talk about the pending removal of the Paint Creek Dam & the upcoming SE Michigan TU Chapters work projects & picnic event on Sunday, September 18th.
